The 2011 extravaganza was Sept. 24; sorry if you missed it. It was the first solar-powered bash, now that we've finally gone live with our new ground-mounted solar array.

We've added some photos of the solar array, from ground breaking to construction. The system is estimated to produce more than 13,500 kWh per year initially. We'll be net metering with the utility, which means we have an import and an export meter. At the end of our generation year, we should be net zero with the utility.
